I don’t know what the hell this is…

So I just unlocked the Platinum Torch in Guardian Games and I got the new ship “Unauthorized Departure”. While you’re in orbit, you’ll see a bright light next to this ship, and when you…depart..the light will fly back to the planet.
I’m not sure if this is a bug, or there is some type of lore tied to this.
