Congress holds UFO hearing for the first time in 50 years as reports rise




Congress held its first hearing on UFOs, or unidentified flying objects, in over 50 years. As lawmakers stressed this as a potential national security issue, officials from the Pentagon testified yesterday that reports of potential unexplained encounters rose from 144 in 2004-2021 to approximately 400 since then.
