Today, on the show we have the very dynamic Sirisha Bandla. She is an Indian-born American aeronautical engineer. She flew on the Virgin Galactic Unity 22 mission which made her the second India-born woman to go to space and the fourth Indian ever to go past the line of space after Rakesh Sharma, Kalpana Chawla, and Sunita Williams. She joined British billionaire Richard Branson on Virgin Galactic’s first fully-crewed successful suborbital test flight from the US state of New Mexico.
In this fantastic episode, we spoke about the incredible mission to make commercial travel into space possible, her experience with Richard Branson and working at Virgin Galactic, what the “space” feels like and so much more.
