The Netherlands will look at supplying Ukraine with F-16s. American diplomats say they expect the US to support the transfer. The US has been training Ukrainian pilots on F-16s since at least July. This comes as Germany is refusing to send their own tanks unless the US sends Abrams tanks. And the Pentagon has refused to send its M1 Abrams tanks because they say that Ukraine doesn’t need them. However, Congress wants to send tanks to force the hand of Germany.
