Today I am in one of the coolest places in Laos but unfortunately had one of the worst days of travel in a long time……
The location here is called Long Tieng and Phonsavan, both very interesting places for two different reasons.
Firstly Long Tieng is the home a secret military base that was home to a very secret war, and the second is the Plain of Jars in Phonsavan which is home to one of humanities un-solved mysteries.
Let’s try to learn more about each place today whilst we battle the difficulties that Laos can throw at you as a solo traveler….
