I’m creating two Rose Paintings this week in my Art Studio! Painting from life is something I want to do more often. Join me as I Oil Paint two versions of this rose still life to improve my color mixing and simplification skills. We’ll talk about purposefully bringing beauty into your life, finding inspiration from your surroundings, and learning to appreciate quiet moments of existence. My art journey this week has shown me that I should expand my subject matter and painting practices to include things like still life’s, landscapes, and interior spaces. These skills will help me to paint portraits better when I get back to painting them! I hope you enjoy this week in my studio!
