Scientists have found hazardous Asteroids hiding in the sun’s glare.
The asteroids remained undetected until now.
One of them is the largest found since 2014 and poses a potential risk to the planet in the future.
The three near-Earth asteroids were found using the Dark Energy Camera in Chile.
Two of the recently observed asteroids have orbits that safely skirt Earth.
But one has an orbit that NASA may want to keep tabs on, but we’re still safe from it over the next 100 years.
Scientists do not know the orbit of 2022 AP7 precisely enough to say much about its dangers centuries from now.
