‘There is no indication of aliens or terrestrial activity with these recent takedowns. I wanted to make sure that the American people knew that,’ press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said. John Kirby added that closer scrutiny of airspace may partially explain the increase in objects detected but that they were not assessed as a threat to people on the ground and showed no signs they had manoeuvring or propulsion capability
