Here is a surprising fact about the dwarf planet Pluto. Since it was discovered by Clyde Tombaugh on February 18, 1930, Pluto still hasn’t completed an orbit around the sun. And none of us living today will be alive when it finally does.
It takes the dwarf planet 248.09 Earth years to complete one orbit around the sun. So, Pluto will complete its first full orbit since its discovery on Monday, March 23, 2178, just a few years after Neptune turns 2.
