Witness description:
“Viewed one light above my paramotor. Friend saw from 15 miles east of me.
I was out flying my Paramotor over SanTan Valley in Queen Creek, AZ, Jan 7 at 5:15pm. I sometimes will video my “wing” (another name for my parachute) to make sure lines aren’t tangled or that my wing is fully inflated. I video from my iPhone 8 which is strapped to my right leg using the forward camera. The angle was looking straight up at my wing. The original video was about 4 minutes long. I noticed the light in my video and snipped a 34-second view of it from the original. After posting it to one of my favorite Paramotor Facebook groups, a friend said she was driving towards me from the east and saw the same light(s) in front of her. She was probably 20 miles east of me. She took a pic of it, but it included two additional lights that I didn’t see in my video.
She said:
“You have to zoom in a bit, but I saw something that looks the same when I was driving on the 77 on my way home from globe, east of you. There were three of them, and they barely moved if they moved at all kind of hard to tell since I was driving. But seriously they looked just like your picture.”
I have one photo where I was able to zoom in, and it looks like an advances light craft, disc shaped, but multi-tiered.”
