There is a Chinese high-altitude surveillance balloon currently over the continental United States. The balloon is the size of 3 buses and includes a technology bay. The US Military has given the President several options on how to engage the balloon but has heavily discouraged shooting it down due to the danger of debris to civilians. The military has been tracking it since it first entered US airspace a few days ago.
