An asteroid that was found on Jan. 21 is set to get really close to Earth on Jan. 26. The asteroid, officially named 2023 BU, is expected to zoom about 2,200 miles (3,600 kilometers) above the Earth, according to the Associated Press. The asteroid is pretty small and dim, but it might be visible through a powerful telescope. After this flyby, the asteroid is not expected to pass close to Earth again until the year 2036.
