In the United States, unidentified flying objects are back in the news, as the Pentagon confirms the authenticity of more rare UFO footage, as well as official accounts from U.S. pilots.
Canada has also seen its fair share of UFO sightings. In 2020, Canadians reported more than 1,200 UFO sightings – a 50 per cent increase over the number of sightings in 2019.
But as David Akin explains, although these incidents are little “out-of-this-world,” the U.S. military is treating the confirmed sightings as serious security concerns.
