UFO hearings — or briefings — in Congress were held in the 1950s and 1960s, but the U.S. House hasn’t been briefed publicly on UAPs or UFOs since 1969. So, the UFO hearing taking place is the first public UFO briefing in more than 50 years.
A government report released last year stated that these objects could be a security threat.
