When the Pentagon announced its investigation into 144 sightings from between 2004 and 2021, it raised some eyebrows. Then, In July last year, the pentagon set up the All-domain anomaly resolution office (AARO) whose job it is “to detect, identify and attribute objects of interest […] and, as necessary, to mitigate any associated threats.” So far, the office hasn’t found signs that any unidentified aerial phenomena — or UAPs — are from out of this world, but they’re not ruling it out.
